- Check for consistent style, syntax, and tone
- Confirm the consistency and correctness of field-specific terminology
- Verify that your work adheres to your field's expectations in terms of writing style, formatting, and other conventions
- Ensure the consistent formatting of in-text citations, references, and footnotes in addition to page properties, such as headings, figures, tables, and other elements
